This position is responsible for assisting the Controller in the auditing, administration, and management of all financial processes of Red Rock Realty Group.
Reporting: Directly to the Controller; indirectly to all Owners.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The principal duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, assisting the Controller with:
- Overseeing all Brokerage, Corporate, and Property Management income, payments, and cash flow.
- Reviewing Brokerage sales/leases; preparing invoices as necessary.
- Managing all Brokerage Sales, Corporate, and Property Management deposit entries.
- Managing/Reconciling all Corporate and Property Management bank accounts.
- Managing bank draws, making any needed corrections.
- Managing payment of all corporate invoices, auditing for accuracy.
- Managing monthly Property Management fees.
- Journaling all Escrow and Replacements Reserve accounts prior to the monthly closing process.
- Managing monthly/annual closing processes of corporate accounts.
- Managing Owner and Investor distributions on a quarterly basis.
- Preparing monthly/annual financial reports and budgets.
- Managing all aspects of the general ledger and balance sheet.
- Preparing/Submitting the Corporate bi-weekly payroll.
- Overseeing/Supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Overseeing annual 1099 reporting for Owners and Vendors.
- Preparing Corporate Worker’s Compensation quarterly/annual reporting.
- Overseeing the Property Management Worker’s Compensation annual audit.
- Preparing the annual Corporate General Liability audit.
- Maintaining all business licenses – Local, City, County, State.
- Assisting in the formulation of Accounting’s internal controls and policies.
- Researching accounting issues for compliance using accepted real estate accounting principles.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Measures of Performance
- All queries are handled properly, efficiently, and professionally.
- All audit processes and checks & balances are properly maintained.
- Tenant relationships are maintained to the highest possible levels, and calls are returned within 24 hours.
- Landlord relationships are maintained to the highest possible levels, and calls are returned within 24 hours.
- Property setup and closeout are handled properly and efficiently when gaining or losing Property Management assignments.
- Complaints are resolved quickly and professionally.
- Strict confidentiality of all company records must always be maintained.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent team building and soft skills.
